Women Grow Leadership Summit

Last week, our Chief Creative Jennifer Culpepper attended the Women Grow Leadership Summit in Denver, Colorado. Once a year, cannabis industry women (and men) gather in Denver to network, share insight and inspire one another. Over the course of three days, Jenn attended inspirational lightning talks, social events and educational panels. Maryland Dispensaries Announced

On December 9th, The Natalie M. LaPrade Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) made the much anticipated announcement of the 92 Dispensaries that were awarded Stage One license pre-approvals. Combined with all 10 Grower pre-awardees who were also awarded a dispensary pre-approval, there are now 102 Dispensaries slated to open in the state of Maryland.

Little by little, prohibition is coming to an end as we continue to make progress legalizing cannabis. Congratulations to California, Massachusetts, Nevada and Maine who have voted in favor of adult-use. Florida, North Dakota, Arkansas and Montana have also approved medical marijuana initiatives!

The B.U.D. Summit

On August 20th, the Brand Joint team attended the B.U.D. Summit in D.C., a cannabis conference and exhibition open to cannabis entrepreneurs, activists and enthusiasts. The Business, Understanding, & Development Summit (B.U.D Summit) formed as an effort to facilitate business innovation and education for the cannabis industry on the East Coast.
